What are your Sunday services like?

Our worship experience begins at 10:30 every Sunday, and lasts about 90 minutes. Normally our services include a mix of music, prayer, preaching, the Lord’s Supper, and an interactive Q&A that covers the sermon. Our environment is participatory and our attire is casual. Our music is mostly contemporary, but we’ve been known to break out a few hymns every so often.

Do you have a kid’s ministry?

There is an age-graded discipleship experience (we call it Redemption Kids) that takes place during the entire worship service for Babies through Age 4. For kids ages 5-12, Redemption Kids classes start after the church worships together through music (the first ~15 minutes of the service). Teachers of the K-2nd and 3rd-5th grade classes will escort the children from the worship service area to their classes.

Do you have small groups?

Yes we do; we call them LifeGroups. LifeGroups are one of the ways that we live in community at Redemption. As such, they are an important part of what we do. LifeGroups are smaller communities of people that gather to push and pull each other toward Jesus as we build relationships, discuss the Bible, encourage each other, and become better disciples and disciple-makers. LifeGroups meet weekly at various locations and times. Currently, we have groups that meet in Annapolis, Pasadena, and Severna Park on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, respectively.

Where do you meet?

Every Sunday at 10:30, Redemption gathers at the Magothy River Middle School. The address is 241 Peninsula Farm Rd. in Arnold, MD.
